Dear Valued Customers,
Pursuant to Update 02 which was released on 27th Oct 2020, we wish to inform that the MAB Kargo Management has decided to suspend warehouse activities for 24 hours from 1200hrs on Thursday 29 October 2020 to 1200hrs on Friday 30 October 2020. This is to accommodate the professional disinfection works at the warehouse. During this period the following services will be impacted:
i) All truck dock activities will be halted.
ii) Fresh bookings on ALL MH flights will be temporarily halted.
iii) There will be no Express Handling services until 12 November 2020.
Due to an increase in number of positive COVID-19 cases among the affected vendor employees, we have barred all employees of the said vendor from entering MAB Kargo premise effective 0001hrs 29th Oct 2020 until further notice. We also regret to inform that four MAB Kargo staff have been confirmed COVID-19 positive following this incident. We will continue to arrange for all MAB Kargo staff to undergo mandatory screening in stages.
Due to the above, MAB Kargo foresees disruptions to its operations which may impact the service deliveries to carriers and freight forwarders.
As such, we would like to advise all our customers to plan well in advance to minimize the disruptions. We expect the situation to only normalize by Sunday 08th Nov 2020.
